Booking and Cancellation Policy

Field House Dental Practice, like all dental surgeries, operates an appointment system. We tend to book relatively long appointments to help us comply with sterilisation guidelines and to give the best service we can to our clients. We understand that things change and you may need to move or adjust your appointment time and we will try to help you with this to the best of our ability. Generally, where possible it is best to attend as arranged.

We reserve the right to charge for any cancellation or failure to attend. If you have to cancel then we will endeavor to fill the time allocated to you with another patient, but we will charge for any time not booked.

Please note that we require not less than 3 working day’s notice to cancel an appointment of less than 1 hour, and not less than 5 working day’s notice to cancel an appointment of over 1 hour. For new patient appointments and longer appointments, we will take your credit card details and there will be non-refundable deposit taken which will come off your final bill.

In the event of a genuine emergency, there will be no cancellation charge. Missed appointments will be charged at the full rate on the estimate.

The benefit to you is the lost revenue from cancellations or missed appointments will be borne by those patients who do not attend their scheduled appointments - meaning that revenue lost is not passed on in the form of price increases to everyone.

Please note that the answer machine service does not take messages for cancellation or alteration of appointments and we kindly ask that patients speak to a member of our front house team.

In addition to this e mail cancellation or alteration of appointments with under one weeks notice is not possible and again we kindly ask that patients speak to a member of our front house team.
